Panchayats in J&K to be new model of equitable development, growth: Lt. Governor
Lieutenant Governor of Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), Manoj Sinha said the panchayats in J&K will be a “new model of equitable development and growth”, where people will decide their own priorities and the administration will be the facilitator.“No hollow announcements, will deliver what I promise”, Sinha said during his visit to Nesbal in Bandipora district on the second day of phase three of the Back to Village (B2V) programme.Delivering on the promise of providing requisite handholding and assistance to at least two young educated aspiring entrepreneurs from every Panchayat in J&K, Sinha presented loan assistance of Rs 5 lakhs each to two educated young aspiring entrepreneurs of Nesbal.More than 8,000 youth will be benefitted from this initiative across t...
