J&K: Samoon reviews functioning of Career Counselling Centre’s
In the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), Principal Secretary, School Education and Skill Development, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon chaired a meeting of senior officers to review online career counselling initiatives of the Technical Education department.All the personnel present at the meeting were informed that the Career Counseling centers have been established for guiding the educated (unemployed) youth of the UT in opting professional, skill development and nonprofessional courses as per the present-day demand.Dr Samoon stressed upon the concerned officers to provide all the requisite facilities to the youth/students willing to go for higher studies and the vocational and skill development courses.He said that the aim of starting the Career Counseling centers was to enco...
